Angry Birds

Some amazing news was tweeted by Rovio yesterday. 10 million copies of Rio were sold in 10 days. This has surely amounted in a very large payday and some bragging rights.

The game continues to be the top selling app on both the Iphone and the Ipad. The game is still free on the amazon app store but who knows for how much longer. It could expire any day now and if you are looking to get the game from amazon you should go right now and grab it before its too late.

The original version surpassed 100 million downloads in early March and still has a very healthy player base. Will the angry birds craze die down anytime soon?

What would you like to see in the next version?

What holiday theme should they do next?

Angry Birds Ringtones

Being such big fans of the game it’s no wonder we would want to use those great sounds from the game as ringtones on our mobile phones. I use several of the ringtones on my phone for my alarm and SMS messages. I have a few friends who are jealous of my amazing ringtones and some others who can’t stand them! If you look around the Itunes store you will be able to find the theme and just do a simple google search for downloads of the others. All the various ringtones are easy to find and I believe Rovio has even offered some up as free downloads in the past.

Angry Birds

Have you all had a chance to check out the latest St. Patricks day version? It comes with 15 new levels and 2 golden eggs to discover. Of course there are lots of pots o’ gold everywhere along with festive decoration. I believe there is also an option to send a holiday themed greeting card to whoever you feel like spamming.

In other news Rovio has $42 million in investment cash to spend. This means a whole lot more angry birds for all of us addicts to enjoy. It’s been reported that Angry Birds could be one of the fastest growing online products of all time.

What do you think they can create with $42 million?

Do you think the pigs will get their own spinoff?

Will Angry Birds on facebook be successful?
